What is Hum?

Hum is a Customer Data Platform (CDP).  It's a system that collects first-party data that users bring to our sites. This could include IP addresses, email addresses, and institutional information as well as behavioral data such as topics of interest, and level of engagement.
Researchers are inundated with professional information online. Capturing their attention is no longer as easy as creating great content and hoping they find it. There is more digital content than they could possibly ever consume. Hum uses data to help RUP connect readers with the content and digital experiences they want and need.

The first step is to add a Campaign to hum and give it a name-value pair (<key>=<value>) in the Key-Values pair section of the campaign set-up. e.g., key=segment / value=test0302. NOTE: The key needs to be unique!

You can also set the pages where the campiagn should appear. e.g.,
